SERVICES & FEES:

Initial consultations last for 60 minutes, during which time we will discuss your current health concerns, overall wellbeing, and any past health problems. Once we have established your concerns together, we will work towards forming a collaborative treatment plan to best facilitate a positive outcome for you.

Consultations can include a combination of acupuncture, cupping, guasha (a gentle scraping massage), lifestyle and dietary advice and herbal medicine. Michaela will discuss what methods are best for your condition during the treatment.

Limited appointments are available after standard business hours for those who are unable to come during the week.

Rebates are available through Hicaps to clients who are members of eligible health funds.

Initial Appointment: $135
An initial consultation goes for 60 minutes, and includes a full health review, assessment of current complaints, and treatment plan. It also includes acupuncture, cupping or guasha (as required), and a herbal prescription if appropriate.

Follow up appointment (existing clients only): $105
Follow up appointments go for 45 minutes, and include a reassessment of presenting issues, acupuncture and herbal medicine as needed and in line with the treatment plan.

Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine may be required as a part of your treatment to allow for the best outcomes. Each herbal formula is carefully tailored to the individual, and regularly reviewed and adjusted as needed. Because of this the price can vary slightly. This will be discussed in detail during your consultation.

Constitutional Facial Acupuncture (Cosmetic Acupuncture):
Constitutional facial acupuncture is a gentle facial needling technique that can address the condition and appearance of the facial skin and muscle tone by applying a whole body approach. This means that the underlying pattern which causes puffy eyes, fine lines or drooping skin, for example is treated using broader body acupuncture points as well as facial points, with the aim of producing a longer-lasting effect.

A Cosmetic acupuncture consultation includes a full health review and Chinese Medicine diagnosis, appropriate body acupuncture to address any underlying conditions, facial cleanse, facial acupuncture working on your chosen areas, two rejuvenating face masks followed by rehydration of the skin.

A healthy person will usually show visible changes such as a reduction in fine lines in just 2-3 visits while complicated conditions may require more extended treatments. A personalised treatment plan will be developed in your initial consultation.
