A bit about Michaela..
BHSc (Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine)
Hi! I’m Michaela. I began my practice as a Chinese medicine practitioner in 2017 and have since developed a deep passion for sharing the versatility and healing capabilities of Chinese medicine. I find myself being amazed by this wonderful medicine so frequently, and am delighted that I get to share this with you!
I am interested in working with a variety of conditions, and working to understand them through the Chinese medicine lens. Through my practice, I have developed a special interest in the areas of chronic disease management including autoimmune conditions and post viral fatigue, supporting digestive health, skin conditions, fertility, pregnancy and women’s health, and most importantly, sleep.
A Chinese Medicine treatment with me will begin with a deep dive into your current health and health history, so that I can help you understand what is happening in your body. The treatment may include a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping and dietary and lifestyle advice, depending on what is most appropriate for the you and your condition. I work collaboratively with my clients, providing guidance and assistance to support and promote lasting health, happiness and balance.
Michaela is registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (AHPRA) and completed her studies at the Southern School of Natural Therapies. She is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association, and is covered by all major private health funds.
